North American powerhouse Jay Thomas and tenorman Kohama had a fateful encounter in 1996. The two hit it off and began performing together both in Japan and abroad 29 years ago. This time, together with their friend, trombonist Hirotsugu Sakamoto, and the ironclad rhythm section of Yamashita, Yanagi, and Tateyama, they will deliver an even more mature, straight-ahead sound.
